Many Long Islanders are looking forward to the summer and that means we are thinking about trips to Splish Splash!

This year, the park is opening its new water playground and visitors got to pick the name!

Visitors who entered Splish Splash’s Vote for the Splashiest Water Playground Name Sweepstakes chose between three underwater themed selections to name the new water playground – Anchor Bay, Soakin’ Shores, and Stingray Bay.

News 12 learned the name exclusively early this morning! With thousands of votes casted, the winning name was Stingray Bay.
