307ds agoA group of Mount Vernon cheerleaders won first place in the AYF National Cheer Championships held in Orlando, Florida.
Mount Vernon United Cheer and Dance was the only team to represent Westchester in the competition.
"It feels awesome!" says Mount Vernon United head coach Enjoli Pennamon. "And it just reiterates what we've been telling them, 'hard work definitely pays off.' Anytime you put your all into it, you'll receive what's due to you and what was due to us was Nationals!"
