Cloudy afternoon in the forecast for NJ ahead of evening and overnight showers

It will be a cloudy and slighly warm Wednesday afternoon across New Jersey before showers arrive tonight and continue into Thursday.
Temperatures will be in the mid-40s but some areas will see highs in the low-50s. Rain is expected to move into the western part of New Jersey at about 8:45 p.m. to 9 p.m. before passing through the entire Garden State at about 10 p.m. and into the overnight hours. Temperatures will drop into the mid-30s and upper-40s.
Some rain will continue into the early Thursday morning hours, but it should not impact the morning commute. The rest of Thursday looks cloudy with highs in the mid- to upper-50s.
The clouds are expected to clear by Friday morning as temperatures climb into the upper-40s.
The weekend will see a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures ranging in the low- to mid-40s.
