Firefighter hurt after blaze rips through E. Patchogue apartment

In video obtained by News 12, the smoke was seen pouring out of the La Bonne Vie apartment building around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday night.

Officials say a firefighter was hurt after a fire tore through an apartment in East Patchogue.
In video obtained by News 12, the smoke was seen pouring out of the La Bonne Vie apartment building around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday night.
People on the scene say the fire was contained to one unit and the resident made it out safely.
There is no word on the condition of the firefighter taken to the hospital or what started the fire.
