Family sets up GoFundMe for owner of Cos Cob TV as cancer worsens

The owner of Cos Cob TV is fighting for his life, and doctors say the prognosis is not good.
Sean Mecsery, 50, was diagnosed with brain cancer in October of 2019.
"He wasn't able to speak at all. He was very, you know, confused and got lost in the hospital," said his wife.
Mecsery has had two surgeries, multiple radiations and chemotherapies, and a host of other drugs.
His wife Cassie says his condition has worsened and he is losing most of his motor skills. Their 6-year-old has noticed.
"In the last two weeks, she's seen that her dad can't go upstairs and tuck her into bed anymore because he can't make it up the stairs," said Cassie Mecsery.
Cassie Mecsery says with no approved treatments she and her kids are just trying to enjoy Sean as much as possible.
The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help with rising medical bills.
"The community has just rallied around us so much more than I ever expected in such a positive way," said Cassie Mecsery.
Cassie Mecsery says she will continue the family business when her husband is gone.
Doctors say with this form of brain cancer, there is less than a 7% chance of surviving five years.
