Author Ray Negron of Elmont has three children's books that are the basis of a new animated movie starring Alex Rodriguez.
Negron was arrested as a kid for spraying graffiti on the walls of Yankee Stadium. Yankees owner George Steinbrenner decided to make Negron work off the damage as a bat boy.
"He gave me life, the aspect of believing in me, that I'm just as good as everyone else," Negron says.
Today he is a special advisor to the Yankees and best-selling author. The animated movie, "Henry and Me," will be based on his books.
Other voices in the movie will be played by Yankees Manager Joe Girardi and his 9-year-old daughter Serena.
