An 80-year-old man is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Bay Shore on Thursday night.

According to police, Jorge Claros-Moisa was crossing Union Boulevard between 1st and 2nd Avenues when he was hit by a car around 9:30 p.m.

Claros-Moisa was rushed to the hospital.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene and isn't facing charges.
