Investigators say alcohol is to blame for the death of a teen from Cold Spring Harbor.Nineteen-year-old Matthew Sunshine was found dead in his college dorm room Tuesday. He was a freshman at Northwestern University in Illinois.The college said Sunshine had too much to drink and the medical examiner confirmed on Wednesday that he died from alcohol poisoning. A memorial vigil is scheduled to be held Thursday night at the school. Students say they will be putting together a scrapbook to send to Sunshine's family.School officials say drinking is a huge problem for all colleges.
"Northwestern University is extremely saddened by the death," says Northwestern Vice President Alan Cubbage. "Excessive alcohol consumption is a phenomenon that occurs on college campuses nationwide, and Northwestern is not immune."
