A woman in Bridgeport is trying to reunite with her 12-year-old son in Jamaica. 

Rosie Marie Hall’s son was supposed to join her in America once she got settled.  

She is now a U.S. citizen, but her son has not been able to join her due to the pandemic and immigration issues. 

Hall adopted her son when she lived in Jamaica more than a decade ago. 

"I'm feeling bad to know that he's down there. I am here. I can't take the plane often to go to Jamaica,” says Hall. “I am working -- so, you know, it makes me feel helpless." 

Hall says she is finally getting the help she needs. 

Sen. Richard Blumenthal says he is contacting the State Department on the mother’s behalf.
