Yonkers residents gathered at Moriarty's Bar and Restaurant on McLean Avenue to help out a newborn diagnosed with epilepsy.
The "Because of Eabha" fundraiser aims to help pay for the treatments the 3-month-old baby will need.
"Eabha was diagnosed early, so her treatment was started early,” said her mother Edel Sheridan. “She's had three surgeries already and she's going in again in September for a fourth – so hopefully this will be the last."
Online donations to the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, where Eahba is being treated, has topped $20,000.
In addition, today's event will raise more money through ticket sales and a raffle.
