A Wyandanch man has died after being hit by an allegedly impaired driver.

As News 12 reported, Jonathan Yanes was struck while crossing the street Wednesday afternoon on Straight Path in Wyandanch.

The Dix Hills man accused of hitting him, Daniyal Syed, was allegedly high at the time of the crash.
