Police are searching for a woman they say robbed a Nassau shoe store with a gun.

The incident happened last night at the Payless Shoes in Freeport.

Police say the woman with a ponytail was armed when she handed the cashier a Post-it note demanding money.

No one was hurt, but the suspect got away with cash.
