A fast food restaurant in Franklin Square was held at gunpoint Saturday night.

It happened just after 10 p.m. at the Wendy's on Hempstead Turnpike.

News 12 is told the two suspects waited for customers to leave before attempting to rob the restaurant.

No word on what was stolen.
