An annual tradition has returned to the South Shore.

U.S. Navy sailboats arrived today at Freeport's famous Nautical Mile.

The Naval Academy has been making the journey from Annapolis, Maryland to Nassau's South Shore for nearly two decades.

They'll be docked in Freeport through Sunday.
