The Town of Oyster Bay is suing two firms that helped build a Hicksville parking garage.
The $65 million garage developed cracks and leaks soon after it was built in 2011, officials say.
The town is suing the architect and builder, saying they should pay for the repairs.
However, a spokesman for builder Scalamandre Construction of Freeport says the garage met all construction specifications when it was built.
Mineola civil engineers Sidney B. Browne and Son says it is confident that there was absolutely no departures from good and accepted engineering practice.
