Thomas Coscetta, Kevin Neville plead guilty in LIRR disability scam

Officials say two of the four remaining LIRR retirees involved in a disability fraud investigation have pleaded guilty.

Former conductor Thomas Coscetta, 62, of Southold, and dispatcher Kevin Neville, 56, of Islip Terrace, each face a maximum of 20 years in prison.

Their back-to-back pleas came just as their trials were set to get underway in federal court.

Officials say 31 of 33 retirees and doctors charged in a massive scheme have either pleaded guilty or have been convicted at trial.

Jury selection began today for the final two defendants.
