A "suspicious" piece of mail was delivered to the Nassau County District Attorney's Office in Mineola this afternoon.

A spokesman for Kathleen Rice says the room where the letter was received was evacuated.

The spokesman did not elaborate on the nature of the message.

Nassau police say they are investigating.
