The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter is waiving all adoption fees for the Valentine's Day weekend.

New pets can also get free rabies vaccines and micro-chipping, as well as spaying and neutering at no cost.

The shelter is open until 5 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
