Fire crews were on the scene of a barge fire in the Bronx Wednesday night.

Officials say a scrap metal barge caught fire around 5:45 p.m. on the Hutchinson River near Boston Road.

It is unknown how the barge caught fire.

Authorities say there were no injuries.
