A popular craft beer tasting room on Long Island has been closed for now.

Northport's village zoning board temporarily shut down the Sand City Brewing Company tasting room on Main Street, according to Newsday.

The shutdown comes after complaints of large crowds, noise and intoxicated patrons.

The village administrator says he gets an average of two complaints a month from neighbors about the tasting room line.

The owners have a hearing on March 28.
