This year's iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree is on its way to Manhattan!

Chopper 12 was over Shelton, Conn. as workers cut down the 80-foot Norway Spruce and loaded it onto a tractor-trailer.

The tree will make the 70-mile journey to the big apple.

The official tree-lighting ceremony is scheduled for Dec. 4.
