The Riverhead Zoning Board of Appeals has denied a plan to allow a microbrewery to open in the town, reports the Riverhead Patch.

A pair of entrepreneurs said they wanted to open the brewery in a historic school house on Sound Avenue.

Neighbors say they were concerned about the increased traffic in the area.
