The rainfall Tuesday left a flood of trouble on some Long Island roads.
Police say eight to 10 cars were stuck in floodwaters in Deer Park around 9 p.m.
Deer Park Fire Department volunteers worked with police to move the vehicles from Long Island Avenue, between Carlls Path and Commack Road.
Another car was stuck in floodwaters on Crandon Street in Melville.
The drivers are all OK.
