Police say a woman was shot inside a North Amityville home during a drive-by shooting.

Police say they responded to the home on Benjoe Drive around 10 p.m. Tuesday after several shots were fired at the house from a passing car.

A woman inside the house was shot in the leg.

The woman was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
