Police say a tractor-trailer overturned on the Long Island Expressway early Sunday morning.

Officers say the vehicle was traveling westbound on the LIE around 2:54 a.m. when it overturned between exits 51 and 50.

The right lane by Exit 49 N was shut down.

No serious injuries were reported.

The cause of the accident is unknown.
