Suffolk police say a young man was killed when he was shot in the head in Wyandanch early Sunday morning.

Police say 18-year-old Eric Meade was standing in his front yard on South 26th Street at around 1:20 a.m. with a group of people when he was shot in the head.

Relatives took Meade to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
