Police are on the hunt for a man who robbed a woman in her Rockville Centre driveway.

Authorities say the 77-year-old victim was sitting in her car outside of her home at about 11:15 p.m. yesterday when a man ripped the woman's pocketbook right off her shoulder.

Police say the man fled west on Beverly Road in a white or silver passenger vehicle. They say he got away with the bag, some cash and credit cards.

The woman was not hurt.
