Two women are alive today after police found them unconscious in a car suffering from overdoses.

Police say the women, both in their 50s, passed out in a car on Horatio Avenue in Merrick Tuesday morning.

Officers performed CPR and gave them the overdose drug Narcan.

Both women were conscious and breathing as they were taken to the hospital.
