A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries Wednesday following a crash in Franklin Square, Nassau County police say.

They say the motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Hempstead Turnpike and Scherer Boulevard at around 2:30 p.m.

Police say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
