Police say a 20-year-old man has been shot near a 7-Eleven in Baldwin.

Police say the unidentified victim was shot just before midnight in the parking lot on Grand Avenue and Grand Terrace Avenue.

The young man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and is in critical condition.

Investigators say the suspected shooter took off in a four-door black sedan.
