Police say a man was found shot to death in the street in Uniondale.

According to detectives, officers responded to a 911 call for a male lying in the street on Alexander Avenue and Lee Road around 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, the male was pronounced dead by a Nassau County Police medic.

The name of the victim has not been made public.
