Police: Man drove high with son in car

A Coram man was arrested Thursday afternoon for allegedly driving high with his 7-year-old son in the car.
Police say Sandro Vargas was on Middle Country Road in Selden when he sideswiped another car.
The boy was taken to the hospital complaining of pain but has since been released and is expected to be OK.
Vargas is accused of violating Leandra's Law.
