A Manorville man has been arrested in connection with the robbery and attempted robbery of two stores at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead.

Riverhead police say they responded to the outlet mall Friday afternoon for a report of a suspicious person. An investigation revealed that the man was wanted for a previous robbery that occurred on Jan. 6 at the Sunglass Hut store, and for an attempted robbery that occurred Jan. 8 at Movado Company.

Police say 25-year-old Nicholas A. Rutigliano was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree attempted robbery.
