Nassau police have identified the body found last week in Roosevelt.

They say the remains are that of 19-year-old Josue Amaya Leonor.

The teen’s remains were found Wednesday in a wooded area of the Roosevelt Preserve.

His family says he was known to relatives and friends as Joshua Aguilar.

Police say he was the victim of MS-13 violence.
