Police are trying to determine the identity of the person whose remains have been found in Brentwood.

According to police, the skeletal remains were discovered in a yard on Frank Street on Saturday afternoon. Neighbors say investigators have been on the scene since.

Police believe the remains have been there for a number of years, possibly as long as a decade.
