A Franklin Square man is in serious condition after being involved in an ATV crash.

Police say the incident happened Wednesday morning when the man was riding an ATV on 3rd Avenue near Sheila Court.

The 58-year-old suffered a head injury and was taken to a hospital.

Police are reminding everyone that ATVs are illegal on Nassau County roadways.
