Police say a car crashed into a home in Hicksville Tuesday around 11 p.m.

According to detectives, the male driver, 54, of East Meadow, was attempting to make a left turn when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a home on Newbridge Road.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to the Nassau University Medical Center for treatment of injuries and is listed in serious condition.

The one occupant of the home was uninjured.
