Police are searching for two people they say distracted a woman and stole her purse in Manhasset.

Detectives say the pair told the woman she dropped money in the parking lot of the Whole Foods on Northern Boulevard.

When the victim got back in the car, her bag was gone.

Police say one of her credit cards was then used at the Prada store at the Americana Mall.
