Two drivers are accused of driving while under the influence in North Bellport last night.

Police say they closed off the road after a motorcycle rider crashed on Sunrise Highway. They say two drivers then tried to go through the barricades just before midnight.

Authorities say one of the drivers, 30-year-old Matthew Sabo, of Hampton Bays, escaped from the back of a police car.

The injured motorcycle rider suffered a broken collarbone.
