The Southern State Parkway has reopened after a deadly motorcycle crash in the westbound lanes near exit 25.

According to police, the accident happened just after 1 a.m. in Wantagh. 

Police say it appears just the motorcycle was involved in the crash. 

The name of the motorcyclist who was killed has not been released at this time.
