Police say a pedestrian that was hit by a car in Holtsville has died from his injuries. 

Timothy Miller, 39, of Patchogue, died this morning after being hospitalized last night. 

Suffolk police say he was hit while crossing North Ocean Avenue near Peconic Street in Holtsville last night. 

The driver did stop and is not facing charges at this time.
