State park officials are ramping up patrols around the former Kings Park Psychiatric Center starting today through Monday.

Authorities say access to Kings Park Boulevard will be restricted in an effort to prevent vandalism, mischief and injuries.

Every year around Halloween, people head to the abandoned site, but officials say the buildings are unstable and unsafe.
