Officials say a fire at an Islip Terrace apartment complex is under control.

The fire broke out at the Providence on the Park Apartments on Providence Drive.

Authorities are not releasing many details, but witnesses say the building was under construction at the time.

Witnesses say the entire second floor of the building was destroyed by the fire.
