Contract negotiations for hundreds of Long Island Catholic school teachers are reportedly at a standstill.
The union wants a state-appointed mediator to come in and help move things along, according to Newsday.
Teachers have been working without a contract since August.
They're asking for a 6 percent increase every year for three years.
The Diocese of Rockville Centre is offering 1.5 percent for two years, and 2 percent the third year.
