A minor league version of the former American Basketball Association (ABA) is taking place on Long Island.

The New York Hoop-Dragons play their games at Five Towns College in Dix Hills.

The team, which was founded in 2020, has team members who played or hope to play in international professional leagues.

The team's first home game is Nov. 4.
