Some of Nassau's finest are paying tribute to veterans on our West Coast.

The Nassau County Police Emerald Society Pipe Band is taking part in San Diego's Veterans Day Parade.

Twenty-five active and retired Nassau County police officers made the trip to say thank you to our heroes.

The special event comes as the pipe band celebrates its 45th anniversary.
