A Mastic Beach woman is accused of neglecting her 1-year-old pit bull.

Police say Ashley Dollard left her female pit bull, named Karma, locked in a bedroom filled with feces and urine with no access to food or water.

She's charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.

The Laurelton Drive home, which was occupied by several squatters, was condemned by the Town of Brookhaven.
