Some reports claim sophomore guard Jeff Xavier is transferring to his hometown school, Providence, due to coach Bobby Gonzalez?s departure to Seton Hall. However, Xavier has not confirmed the reports.

Xavier did say that if he decides to stay with the Jaspers, he would be happy to work with coach Barry Rohrssen.
