Police say a man was injured when gunshots rang out in Bohemia Friday night.

A 29-year-old man was shot outside of a home on Village Lane around 9 p.m.

Witnesses say they heard gun shots and screams, and saw people helping the man into a car.

The man was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK. His identity was not released.
