Police say a man was shot in the back in Wyandanch last night. 

The incident happened at Little East Neck Road and Lincoln Avenue just before 5 p.m. 

The 24-year-old Wyandanch man was hit in the back and the leg. He is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. 

So far no arrests have been made and there is no word on a motive for the shooting.
